Florida lemon law: how many repair attempts?

Florida's presumption needs 3 attempts at the same defect, or 30 cumulative days out of service (60 for RVs), inside the 24-month Lemon Law rights period. There is no mileage cap — Florida is the widest window in the country.

The mistake that costs Floridians their claims: at 15 days out of service, a duty switches on — you must notify the manufacturer in writing that the vehicle has been out of service 15 days. Fifteen is the notice trigger. Thirty is the presumption. Guides that print 'Florida presumption: 15 days' have merged two different rules.

After the presumption numbers are met, the §681.104 notice goes out by registered or express mail, and the manufacturer gets a final attempt: 10 days to name a facility, 10 more days after delivery to fix it (45 days total for RVs).
